Wooden Utensils

All wooden utensils made at Object Flux are hand carved from high quality maple wood, hand sanded, and sealed with non-toxic, food safe beeswax. To keep your wooden utensils smooth, you can continue to seal the wood with food safe wood oil or wax. A bit of coconut oil on the wood rubbed in with a soft cloth also works well to seal your wood from water damage. It is best to wash wooden utensils by hand and to avoid the dishwasher.

Pearl & Opal Bead Jewelry

Our cultured pearls and opal beads are of the highest quality and strung on durable elastic cord. To ensure the longevity of your ring and/or earrings, please do not wear the jewelry while using any harsh cleaners or chemicals. The change from hot to cold temperatures can affect the integrity of the stones and it best to avoid wearing them in a hot tub or sauna. Opals and pearls are softer than most gemstones. It is best practice to avoid wearing opal and pearl rings while exercising or lifting heavy objects to prevent the gemstone beads from abrading or cracking.
